In October, we launch the results of our latest Brand Growth Study at the Festival of Marketing, where our CEO, Lucas Hulsebos, will be joined on stage by Russel Parson, editor of Marketing Week, and Marketing “Rockstar” Mark Ritson, to discuss the results and the implications for the industry.  Details of the presentation can be found on the website.

The best chance of success

In a partnership with Marketing Week, we surveyed senior marketers across the UK to understand the KPI’s which determine marketing success. Our study shows clear winner and losers in the marketing space, and gives marketers insight into which areas give them the most chance of success. This year’s theme was innovation. The study clearly shows that innovation is a key driver for growth, and we see a clear picture emerging of where and how innovation impacts on the growth of brands, and the part research plays in the innovation process.

Our presentation will include highlights and results about which KPI’s determine marketing success, how marketing budgets are developing for next year, and thoughts on the impact of agile and influencer marketing.  We also take a look at organisational context to understand marketers career expectations, how well they feel supported within their organisation and how they are targeted internally. For agencies, there are some startling findings about the number and quality of the external agencies and partners they work with. Marketing Week share a number of common characteristics when it comes to driving growth in their latest article on the study.

Brand Growth

The following week, we hold our own event “The Ingredients for Brand Growth” at the Bloomberg head offices in London. Amongst the speakers we have Ella’s Kitchen, Bloomberg Media Group, Birds Eye and our UK MD, Simon McDonald, presenting the results of the brand growth study.
