NIMA expert jury awards DVJ Insights’ marketing strategy and organisation

Utrecht, 8 June 2023, DVJ Insights has received the prestigious Marketing Company of the Year 2022 Award from the Netherlands Institute for Marketing (NIMA). The NIMA Marketing Awards recognise companies and marketers who have made exceptional contributions and demonstrated their impact on society, the economy, and sustainability. The award ceremony will take place on June 15, 2023, during NIMA Marketing Day at DeFabrique in Utrecht.

DVJ Insights, a marketing research and analytics agency, was shortlisted for the prestigious NIMA Company of the Year award in the medium-sized-organisations category. During the selection process, CEO and owner Lucas Hulsebos presented DVJ’s unique marketing strategy to an expert jury of 15 marketers, which led to the company´s recognition as NIMA Marketing Company of the Year. Lucas explains their strategy: “Our strategy revolves around two key principles. We strive to be the best research agency while fostering the best place for people to work. This entails creating a fully integrated marketing organisation where everyone actively contributes to knowledge sharing, works directly with clients, and collaborates on continuous innovation and optimisation. As a result, all 90 employees at DVJ Insights are true ambassadors for our brand.”

Regarding the Marketing Awards, the NIMA organization states: “Our award is the ultimate distinction in marketing in the Netherlands, encompassing not just marketing communication, but also evaluating the organisation as a whole. We celebrate the passion for the marketing profession.” Previous winners of the Marketing Company of the Year award (known as the Dutch Marketing Award) include renowned brands such as Rituals and bol.com, both of whom collaborate closely with DVJ Insights.

The NIMA expert jury selected DVJ Insights as the ‘Marketing Company of the Year’ due to their strong brand and marketing strategy, positioning themselves as trusted knowledge partners for their clients. DVJ has dedicated work towards building an organisation and culture where marketing, communication, innovation, and client approach are the collective responsibility of all team members. Their content strategy is driven by a genuine passion for marketing research, content sharing, and the exchange of knowledge, insights, and innovations within everyone´s personal network. Over 90 dedicated employees at DVJ Insights contribute to content development, often in collaboration with universities and scientific institutions, as well as conducting interviews with numerous CMOs and CMIs.
