Column Marieke van Echtelt – Managing Director

We have been on the 2021 road for several months now, and the first outlines of our results are taking shape. We started the calendar year well with a significant expansion of our consultancy teams in Germany and the UK, we welcome Kathrin Posnanski and Simon Kluge as Senior Business Partner in Germany, and Jemma Toynebee-Smith as Client Consultant in the UK, and look forward to furthering expansion for the Netherlands in April. But we also welcome many new colleagues in the Research Team, Marketing, and our Innovation Lab. And we are still growing. But we can only grow with the right people, people with a diverse background, multi-country experience and international ambition. With so many new faces, we are curious as to what attracted them to DVJ and made them decide to take this turn. A few new colleagues take the floor:

Jemma Toynebee-Smith, Client Consultant UK: “DVJ Insights is built on a genuine passion for market research and is renowned for its leading solutions that help clients truly deliver brand growth. I am delighted to join the team.”

Simon Kluge, Senior Business Partner DE: “I am passionate about digital market research solutions, especially when dealing with brand research and brand growth opportunities, making my move to DVJ very fitting. I am very much looking forward to contributing to that objective.”

Lisan Lesscher, Research Expert: “I am very happy to be part of a team with such a passion for research. The combination of this passion, the goal of enabling clients to learn and grow, and embedding science into the way we work is what made me want to join DVJ. I hope to contribute to this with my own experience and background in science.”

We believe in the combination of a great team with the right research approach and solution, flexibly adapted to the client’s demand. This is the reason why we are successful and continue to grow. In 2021, we will continue to come up with innovative solutions and new insights, and create content based on knowledge, analyses, and insights from the market. The first interviews and studies with marketers have already been conducted. So, make sure to stay tuned, because this year too, we have a lot of valuable content to bring you.

We are on course for another great year. Because yes, 2020 was a great year for DVJ. We are incredibly proud of the growth we have realised, but the most respect and appreciation goes to our clients and employees. They have shown flexibility in dealing with the situation that has now lasted for a full year. We, like all countries, are also looking forward to more restrictions easing. So, we can all get on the road again and do what we like to do, connect. To see our colleagues again because we miss each other so much. We will keep going, and we will continue the journey in 2021. Which, in many ways, promises to be an (even) better year than 2020 was. I am sure we will meet each other along the way.
