Jori van de Spijker has been awarded Insights Professional of the Year agency side. This year’s MOAawards took place (partly) digitally from the Hallen in Amsterdam. Jori was nominated for the second consecutive year. The MOAwards are the biggest research and analytics awards in the Netherlands.

Jori on winning the award: “I am extremely proud and grateful to all my wonderful colleagues and inspiring clients who have made this possible. Due to DVJ’s focus on quality, innovation and improvement of research, we had a great year and I see this award as a crowning achievement of that.”

Jori joined DVJ Insights in October 2018. Since January this year, he has been leading the business in the Netherlands as Managing Consultant. In his role, he works with global and local brands and provides senior consultancy in the areas of brand, media, and advertising. He is also a member of the SWOCC Board of Advisors.

‘Receiving this award is a crowning achievement of a great year.’

The jury report

‘The jury sees Jori as an inspiration for all people working both inside and outside of the industry. He was nominated last year, but the second time’s a charm! The jury has awarded Jori van de Spijker the title of Insights Professional agency side 2021. Jori shared the story of ‘the 10,000-hour rule’. If you spend 10,000 hours practising something, you will reach the level of a professional. Hours help to become a good insight professional, but Jori states how other factors are much more important. He mentions three success factors: passion, collaboration and helping others. Nothing beats providing insights that help his clients better understand their target audience. Something clients very much appreciate in Jori!’
