We share what we know with our clients. Why? Because we believe in the power of research. And providing insights to our clients that they can use in their business challenges, is our way of giving back. We did in times of crisis during the Covid-19 pandemic, and we carry on while people and businesses across Europe are facing new challenges as inflation hits 25-year high.

The cost of living has increased tremendously in recent months. Due to the rising rates of fossil fuels and raw materials, general inflation in Europe will remain high for longer. DVJ Insights conducted a price inflation study in five European countries to uncover the emotional impact and changing consumer behaviour, and to better understand the impact of the current situation. The insights into emotional impact per country, budget cuts, and how people are coping with the inflation in terms of (cheaper) alternatives, use of promotions, and attention towards advertising, will hopefully help our clients navigate these extraordinary times.

Nature gives you peace, gives you focus, and leaves all peripheral matters out. While I was in Iceland this summer, I felt inspired by the power of the elements. Water, wind, ice, and lava always find their way through the landscape. In Iceland, it is so obvious that it is not humans who shape landscapes; it is all about the elements. There are clear parallels with leading an organization such as DVJ. The passion for research always finds its way. And focussing on content is our nature and it provides us with a direction. We do not advise our clients based on opinion or gut feeling. We believe content is king, which is how we build our strategy. We want to co-create and be our clients’ partners and trusted advisors. We undertake meta-analyses, initiate research, and support (PhD) students by contributing our data to science and optimizing our solutions through their analyses. That is what clients appreciate most about working with us.
