C-level report 2020 – Study DVJ Insights & IAB Nederland

IAB Nederland and DVJ Insights conducted this year’s CMO survey among 15 senior professionals and more than 250 senior professionals on the agency, technology and publisher side about their vision of the future of the marketing and media ecosystem. The study reveals the greatest needs in the market.

Professionals have difficulty in finding the right balance on a strategic and organisational level. Most of the respondents are looking for a balance between short and long term, data and creatives, innovation and evidence. Due to increased data and technological applications and the speed with which everything is happening, professionals are experiencing more abrasion than ever. There is a will to innovate, to be data-driven, creative and diverse, but consistency and long-term focus are also important. Finding a balance between these elements, especially in times of corona, seems to be the biggest challenge.
