CEO of DVJ Insights
Lucas Hulsebos is an experienced marketing research professional with a strong focus on building and managing global growth. After earning his degree in Business Economics from the University of Groningen, he began his career at GfK, where he specialised in integrating consumer purchase data with retail scanning data, helping clients translate data into actionable insights.
Lucas is the owner of DVJ Insights and is committed to building a team of enthusiastic research professionals focused on quality and delivering added value. Under his leadership, DVJ was nominated as the Best Research Agency in the Netherlands in both 2017 and 2018, received multiple FD Gazellen Awards for growth, and was listed among the top 250 fastest-growing companies in both 2019 and 2020.
Lucas plays an active role in the wider marketing and research community. He is a member of the Brand Boardroom, a closed network of the top 100 leaders in marketing, communications, and customer service. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of the University of Groningen and SWOCC, and is a board member of SIRE. Additionally, he contributes to the MOA (Market Research Industry Board), participates in a think tank with professionals from across the media industry, and serves on various juries for advertising and media awards. He was also a board member of MWG, the Dutch industry organisation for media professionals, for four years.
A respected speaker and thought leader, Lucas has presented at numerous conferences and seminars. He was named the first-ever “Researcher of the Year” by the Dutch Market Research Organisation in 2008 while working at a research agency, and again in 2015—becoming the first person to receive the award twice.
